He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee McKee and Amanda Wall McKee; his siblings, Catherine Carringer, Oliver Carringer, Johnny Carringer, Bob Carringer, Archie McKee, Lionel Mckee and Charles McKee; his grandson Chris McKee; his friend Charles Wilson; and his mother-in-law Kathleen Tyner.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Bull McKee; his children, David McKee, Jr. (Debbie) of Whitmire, Cheri Harris (Lorne Ward) of Buffalo, Tina Moody (Joe) of Campobello, Michelle Stott of Landrum, Nisty Smith (John Cotney) of Clinton and Sherry Dye (Byron) of Myrtle Beach; his sister June Watkins of Clinton; his sisters-in-law, Sandra McCall (Sam) of Spartanburg and Jean Blackwell of Bradley; his close friends, Emily Gregory of Bradley, Carter, Zaundra Hicks of Indiana, Terry and Judy Knight of Laurens; his friend Leroy Lawson of Kinards; and his children, Steve Barrett (Andrea) of Clinton and Ginger Brown of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; his 6 great-grandchildren.
