He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Brooks and Nellie Miller Goodman. He is survived by: his wife Betty Harris Goodman; his children, Linda Goodman Hunter, James Wade Goodman, Jr. (Linda Ann) and Barry Lewis Goodman (Tammy); his grandchildren, Christopher Scott Crowder (Elizabeth), Brian Heath Crowder (Mary), Lynn Goodman Miner (Paul), Adam Chandler Goodman and Emily Grace Goodman; and his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Kirven Lovett (Scott) and Jordan Kirven. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Laurens County Memorial Home, 3744 Torrington Rd, Laurens, SC or Mountville Presbyterian Church.
