It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Moody Sr. (Laurens, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifton Guthrie and Loretta McMakin Moody; his children, Eric Venable (Penny) of Hodges, Sean Venable of Laurens, Elaine McDonald of Taylors, James "Jamie" Moody, Jr. (Melissa) of Greenville and Jannyne Reid of Taylors; his brothers, Leon Moody (Wilma) of Saluda, NC, Joseph Moody (Tina) of Campobello and Kenneth Moody of Biloxi, MS; and his grandchildren, Christian, Calfee, Carson, Emily, Aaron, Heather and Ashley.
