He is survived by: his wife Kathy Howard-Holbert; his children, Matthew Holbert of Boiling Springs, SC., Jeffrey Holbert of Boiling Springs, SC. and Christy Higgins (Kenny) of Landrum, SC; his grandchildren, Jenna Higgins, Jordan Higgins of Landrum and Josh Higgins (Kelsey) of Woodruff, SC.; his great grandchildren, Rylan Higgins of Woodruff and Westlyn Higgins-Livesay of Landrum; his sisters, Norma Carr Jones (Donald) of Liberty, Malinda Lightner (Troy) and Teresa; his brother-in-law Dean Bryant; his nephew Chris Bryant; his grandchildren, Joshua Howard of Landrum and Taylor Reeves (James) of Landrum; his niece Casey Bryant; and his great grandchildren, Sofia, Elyana Hernandez and James.
