It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Cooper Dover in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Cooper and Grace Pearson Cooper; her siblings, Tom Cooper, Henry Cooper, C. B. Cooper and Edna Holmes; and her grandson Matthew Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Norman G. Dover, Jr. (Robin) of Clinton and Lynn Wilson (Stephen) of Oak Ridge, NC; her siblings, Fred Cooper of Simpsonville, Carolyn Satterfield of Woodruff and Martha Cooper of Lanford; her grandchildren, Jared Wilson (Desiree), Andrew Wilson, Trent Dover, Ryan Dover (Sarah) and Aaron Dover (Kristen); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin Wilson, Alexander Wilson, Cooper Wilson, Briar Dover and Timothy Dover. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
If you plan to attend the service, the family asks that you respectfully wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Due to COVID-19 the family will not be receiving friends or having a time for visitation.
