It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hack Thompson (Laurens, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent William Haskell; his granddaughter Stephanie Southerland; and his brother Erskine Thompson. He is survived by: his spouse Doris Turner Thompson; his parent Estelle Stone Thompson; his child Brenda T. Todd; his siblings, Earl Thompson of Pelion, Doris T. Bolt of Laurens and Betty T. Wade of Greenwood; and his granddaughter Heather Berryhill. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
