He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Norwood Howard and Lillie Mae Alverson Howard; and his stepsons, John Brewington and Scott Owens. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Howard; his daughters, Leslie Pitts and Amanda Brewington; his grandchildren, Katelin Pitts (Austin) and Jordan Pitts; his great grandchild Brantley Pitts; his stepson Todd Owens (Sharon); his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Owens (Cassie), Tyler Owens (Kristen) and Tara Parker; and his siblings, Ronnie Howard (Joyce) and Mary Williams.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home- Laurens (500 W Main St, Laurens, SC 29360). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens (500 W Main St, Laurens, SC 29360).
