We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2021, at the age of 89, Gilbert Caldwell of Laurens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carter Columbus and Bertie Roberts Caldwell; his son Christopher "Chris" Dean Caldwell; and his siblings, Corbett Caldwell, Algie Caldwell, Austin Caldwell, Boyce Caldwell, Mozelle Owings, Vondie Caldwell and Olga Lee Caldwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Caldwell of Cross Hill; and his sister Alveta "Becky" McGeehon of Hickory Tavern.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn at the service and visitation.
