She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her son Matthew Abercrombie (Ami) of Arlington, VA; her siblings, Barney Blackwell of Rutherfordton, NC, Betty Corley of Laurens, Larry Blackwell (Angie) of Laurens, Jimmy Blackwell (Jo Ann) of Laurens and Cathy Riser (Mark) of Jackson, SC; her sister-in-law Jane Blackwell of Ware Shoals; her aunt Sylvene Wilkie of Cross Hill; her close friends, Sylvia Power and Tammi Kelly; and her pets, Midnight and Puddin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kennedy Mortuary (606 W Main St, Laurens, SC 29360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kennedy Mortuary Chapel (606 W Main St, Laurens, SC 29360). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (765 E Main St, Laurens, SC 29360).
