He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Stover and Eva Wilson Stover; and his siblings, Donald, Carl, Jimmy Stover and Janis Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Koon Stover; his children, Joshua Garren Stover (Krystal) of Laurens and Robyn Stover Gregory of Laurens; his grandchildren, Joshua "Bryson" Stover of Laurens and Mallory Elizabeth Stover of Laurens; and his sister Mary Cox of Fountain Inn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
