He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harden Lyons, Sr. and Janie Elizabeth Bolt Lyons; his son Gary Alvin; his grandson Trey Lyons; and his siblings, Charles H. Lyons, Jr. and Elizabeth "Libby" Lyons Armstrong.
He is survived by: his daughter Amber Lyons Wilson (Stefan) of Laurens; his former wife Vickie Lyons; and his close friends, Robin Hall and William. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
