She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Workman and Beulah Davis Workman; her nephew Neil Workman (Marylynn); her nieces, Ruth Anne Bowen (Kyle) and Kathy Blecke (Scott); her husband Samuel M. Meeks; her brother Samuel N; and her sister-in-law Betty Workman.
She is survived by: her children, Samantha Dawn Meeks of Manassas, VA and Samuel Workman Meeks of Atlanta, GA; her brother Lawrence Franklin "Frank" Workman; and her nephews, Keith Workman and Rick Workman (Sandra).
