It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Mabry Taylor of Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Taylor and Marie Taylor; his son Franklin M. Taylor, Jr.; and his siblings, Margaret Wise and Robert Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Griswell (Brian) of Laurens, Jane Cox of Inman and Libby Taylor of Inman; his grandchildren, Kaylen McGee (Chance) of Ft. Inn, Taylor Griswell of Laurens, Savannah Griswell of Laurens, Leslie Bishop of Inman, Lauren Cruz (Alex) of Inman and Joel Cox (Heather) of Greer; and his pet Red Head. He is also survived by four great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters.
