He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Jones and Viola Rice Jones. He is survived by: his wife Emma J. Jones; his children, John F. Jones (Wanda), Toni Terry (Mark), Lisa Owens (Elton) and Tammy Bailey (Corey); and his siblings, Maureece Jones, Willie Thomas Jones, Clyde Jones and Jessie Cauthen. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
