It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Brooks (Laurens, South Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam W. Thornlow and Ruby Hazel Sills Thornlow. She is survived by: her sons, Dwight Brooks (Mary Anne) of Taylors and Bernard Lewis Brooks, Jr. of Gray Court. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
