He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gregory and Lucia Owens Hazel. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellen Kesler Hazel; his children, James Edwin "Jim" Hazel, Jr. (Jan) and Janet Hazel Garrett (Kirk); his grandchildren, Jill H. Rodgers (A. F.), Jared E. Hazel (Jacqui), Kirk Garrett, Jr. and Keri G. Burroughs (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Shaun, Brooke, JennaLee, Jesse, Jacob and Jason.
