She was predeceased by: her husband William Metts; her parents, Charles Howell and Virginia Louise Millwood Howell; her son Danny Lee Metts; and her siblings, Evelyn Culbertson and Bill Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Williams, Carol Ann White, Janice M. Owens and Debra M. Jenkins; her siblings, Frank Howell, Mike Howell, Wayne Howell, Jerry Howell, Linda Nelms and Brenda Douglas; and her friend Sharon Fortney. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; her twelve great-grandchildren; her three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Redemption Baptist Church (24314 US-221, Enoree, SC 29335). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rosemont Cemetery (807 Willard Rd, Clinton, SC 29325).
