He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert and Ruby Ferguson Humphries; his wife Meredith Humphries; his children, Patricia Babcock and Donald Humphries, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Shelly and Ming Blount.
He is survived by: his children, George R. Humphries (Adea) of Beaufort, Sandra Blount (Linwood) of Rock Hill, Tammy Ellenburg (Fred) of Greenwood and Julie Bledsoe (Dwayne) of Greenwood. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
