He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Eugene Black and Mary Bledsoe Black; and his sisters, Vivian Spillers, Linda Medlin and Dot Collins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lib Butler of Whitmire and Angie Heaton (Gene) of Laurens; his grandchildren, Kellie Duncan, David Nelson, Kevin Duncan and Austin Heaton; his girlfriend Linda Lesley; his great grandchildren, Emily Taylor, Zachary and Chase Duncan; and his siblings, James Black, Faye Couch, Agnes Barber and Brenda Eaves.
