With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David A. Burdette (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Jo Moore Burdette; and his brother-in-law Roger L. Casey. He is survived by: his sister Emily B. Casey; his nieces, Taila C. Davis (Brent) and Crystal C. Lawson (Sam); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cale R., Callen W. Davis, Casey L. Davis of Laurens, SC. and Lexi Lawson of Laurens, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

“My thoughts have been with y’all hearing about David’s passing. My arms are around y’all and praying that his precious memories will bring joy to your hearts in the day’s ahead. I sweetly remember the family reunions and enjoying the “Burdette gang”. We all had so many laughs especially when those brothers gave Grandmother a hard time, but she gave it right back! I always thought David was so good looking and it was a joy to see him at Rita’s service. Sharon lives with me so text us. Love Gwynda”
