It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celita Strickland of Laurens, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Billy R. Strickland of Laurens, SC; her parents, Albert Thomas and Jean Bagwell Thomas of Ware Shoals; her sons, Matthew Thomas Strickland (Brandi) of Hickory Tavern and William Seth Strickland of Albany, GA; and her grandsons, Tucker William Strickland and Brooks Thomas Strickland of Hickory Tavern.
