She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mason, Phoebe Young and Guy; and her mother-in-law Nancy Sherer. She is survived by: her parents, Calvin Young and Melanie Prater Young of Clinton; her sons, George Daniel Sherer IV of Laurens and Brady Guy Sherer of Laurens; her brother Michael Young (Marji) of Clinton; her nieces and nephews, Ella, Brett, Luke, Sophie, Josie, Beau and Natty; her father-in-law George Daniel Sherer Jr. (Cathy); and also, Dawn Sward (Jesse), Haley, Emily, Anna Nance, Ellen, Heather Coggins (Richard), Alivee, Rich, Cooper, Tillman and Chad Sherer. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
