She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Mishoe and Millie Carrol Mishoe; and her son John Adam Strickland. She is survived by: her husband John B. Strickland of Latta; her daughter Joni Strickland Brewer; her sons-in-law, Derick (Robbie Williams) of Spartanburg, SC and Dan of Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Angel-Grace, Riverly Elizabeth, Riley, Caden, Asher, Malachi, Mya and Willow; her sister Esteleen Hyatt of Wallace, NC; and her godchildren, Christopher Snead, Andrew Snead and Joanna Snead Brendel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Latta Baptist Church (202 N Marion St, Latta, SC 29565).
