He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Humphrey; his brother Timothy Dale Shelley; and his brother-in-law Jeff Elliott. He is survived by: his mother Lynn Brown Humphrey of Lake View, SC; his wife Elaine Rollins Shelley; his daughters, Miranda Danielle Cope (Ricky) of Chester, SC, Melissa Diane Shelley of Latta, SC, Taylor Lynn Oates (Weston) of Timmonsville, SC and Patricia Brooke Griffin of Wilmington, NC; his sibling Ahmad Tutis of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Emberleigh Shelley, Addyson Shelley, Thomas Christopher Hardwick, II, Robert James Cope, Wyatt Andrew Cope and Charlotte Elise Oates; his sister Susan Elliott of Dillon; his niece Brittany Nicole Elliott; and his nephew John Varnadore.
