Dorothy Ann Ervin, 67, of Latta, South Carolina passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 18, 2020.
Dorothy was the daughter of Henry and Florrie Ervin, who both preceded her in death. Dorothy was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with her family. She brought joy and laughter to all those around her.
Dorothy leaves behind a slew of people that love and miss her dearly. These include her sisters; Frances Berry, Addie Perritt, Linda Bibb (Everett), Edith Davis, Evaleen Maynard, Carolyn Allen and her brothers Chester Ervin (Elsie) and Frank Ervin. Dorothy leaves behind special nephews and a niece; Steven Ervin, who resided in the home with her and Joseph Ervin (Hannah) and Amanda Shelton (Adam) who were raised in the home with her. Dorothy also leaves behind a multitude of other special nieces and nephews that she adored greatly.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her brothers; Douglas, Robert, Ernest, and Lester Ervin, along with her brother in laws; Gerald Perritt, Ronnie Davis, and Frankie Maynard.
Services for Dorothy will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
