She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Mitchum and Emma Cockrell Mitchum; her child Terry Johnson (Ann) of Aiken, SC; her brothers, Sonny Mitchum (Janelle) of Clearwater, SC, Benny Mitchum and Bobby Mitchum (Merle) of Langley, SC; her grandson Darren Toole; and her great grandchild Wes Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Trinka Akeson (Philip) of Augusta, GA, Lynn McDowell (Will) of Mint Hill, NC, Marcy Johnson of Langley, SC and Jay Johnson (Barbara) of North Augusta, SC; and her brother Bill Mitchum of Aiken, SC. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
