Jean Elizabeth Flowers Bradshaw Obituary

Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Flowers Bradshaw, 79, of Beech Island, SC, wife of the late Douglas Leon Bradshaw, entered into rest on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Born in Florence County, SC and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of her life, she was a daughter of the late A.J.W. and Dorothy F. Flowers. She was a Homemaker. A dedicated member of Capers Chapel United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Women's Group and worked tirelessly within the church. Miss Jean was formerly active in the PTA. She enjoyed playing games, working word puzzles, needle point work and reading to keep her mind sharp. Kids and animals always held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Lynne Bradshaw Hall, Beech Island, SC, Christine Bradshaw Adams and her husband, Kevin, Manning, SC and Anita Bradshaw Weldon, and her husband, Bill, Appling, GA; siblings, Genelle Flowers Eadie, Aiken, SC, Ronald Flowers and his wife, Donna, TN, the late Jerry Flowers and the late Neil Flowers, grandchildren, Ashton Nine, William Adams, Jason Adams, Travis Weldon and the late Sean Adams and six great-grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, Miss Jean was cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 11 o'clock at Capers Chapel United Methodist Church, Beech Island, SC. Pastor Julius Hadden will officiate. Friends will be greeted by the family following the service at the church.

If so desired, memorials may be made to the Women's Group at Capers Chapel United Methodist Church. A donation box will be provided at the church on the day of the service.
