It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter George Case of Landrum, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sunie Thelma Case; his parents, Ruppie Case and Fannie Bragg Case; his son Ricky Case; and his siblings, Amy Weddle, Carrie Lee Arms and Adgar Case.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara A. Howard (Rabin) of Travelers Rest, Walter Ruppie Case and Danny L. Case (Sharon) of Landrum; his sister Genevra Terry of Baltimore, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Crista Andrade, Deanna Brabo, Christopher Case, Cassidy Baxley, Erika Case, Anthony Case, Samantha Case, Dawn Smith and Teresa Woodruff. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
