With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verture Pittman (Landrum, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Webb Pittman; his siblings, Otheal Pittman, Harvey Pittman, Arnold Pittman, Bud Pittman, Aurevia Howard and Aursell Lindsey; his grandson Will Snyder; and his son-in-law Chuck Snyder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Snyder of Landrum and Monica Phillips (Mark) of Powdersville; his grandchildren, Izora, Michelle, Ashley, Rachel, Shannon, Patrick, Jennifer, Sarah and Rebecca; and his great grandchild Birchie.
