Sylvia Bruce Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Payne and Rosa Lee Hundley Payne; her spouse Garrell Bruce of Landrum, SC.; her granddaughter Julie Annette Mahaffey; her sisters, Dixie Lee McSwain and Lucille Luker; and her grandson-in-law Johnny Hyder.

She is survived by: her daughter Judy Mahaffey (James); her granddaughter Beverly Hyder Barnette (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Holly Ruppe (Caleb), Kyle Hyder (Caitlin), Casey Hyder, Hayleigh Harris (Todd) and Kayleigh Hyder; her great great grandchildren, Foster Ruppe and Owen Hyder; and her siblings, Alberta Lane (Roy Allen) and Henry Belue (Martha).

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Inman Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
