It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malorie Wilkerson Chitwood of Landrum, South Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Green and Lillian Painter Green; her husband John Chitwood; her former husband Jesse Wilkerson; her siblings, Leonard Green and Dorothy Green Lindsey; and her niece Linda Wilkerson Cogdell.
She is survived by: her children, Malorie, Phyllis Spicer (Michael), Kevin Chitwood and Larry Chitwood (Goldie); her grandchildren, Brandy Davis and Brian Chitwood; her great grandchildren, Claudia Painter and Alex Davis; and her nieces, Delora Green, Mary Ann Grindstaff and Diane Haskin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (445 Sunset Rd, Landrum, SC 29356). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
