She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brannon and Ruth Brannon; her husband Earnest Luther Dowda; and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Dowda. She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Horton and Martha Dowda. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Redeemed International Baptist Church (1000 S Blackstock Rd, Landrum, SC 29356). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
