It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Owens McClure of Landrum, South Carolina, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cephas Owens and Lillie Owens; her husband William Hovey McClure; her daughter Kaye Harris; her grandchildren, Amber Hulsey and Wesley Harris; and her siblings, Robert, Melvin (Punch), Gary (Speedy), Frances and Elaine.
She is survived by: her children, William Hovey McClure, Jr. (Sueanne), Eric McClure, Jeanie Gooch (Johnnie) and Lisa Dyer; her grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Mac, Strib, Jake, Emily, Malcolm, Clint and Selena; her great grandchildren, Harris, Ian, Mason, Madi, Mel, Ethan, Emma, Sawyer, Landon, Ava, Remi, Quincy, Little Johnny, Esme and Cede; and her brother Gene Owens.
