He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Sorrels Nivens. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Kraft Nivens; his father David Nivens, Sr.; his sisters, Donna Bridgeman (Brian) and Stephania Penley (Stephen); and his nieces and nephews, Kaley Bridgeman, Bindy Bridgeman, Aiden Penley and Noah Penley. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
