He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carey Carson, Sr. and Lois Horton Carson; his son William Kelly Carson; his grandsons, Kreed and Kamp Carson; and his pet Bandit.
He is survived by: his wife Margo Dotson Carson; his daughter Carmen Carson Foy (Shane); his stepson Jonathon Edwards (Jamie); his grandchildren, Colby Carson, Mason Foy, Drew Carson (Zach Herrmann) and Cam Carson (Taylor); his stepgrandchildren, Gavin, Hudson and Hadley Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Kylan Herrmann and Kash Carson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Home (124 S 562, Landrum, SC 29356). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Home Chapel (124 S 562, Landrum, SC 29356).
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Spartanburg Hospice Home.
