He is survived by: his sister Julie Horne (Wayne); his niece Meghan Mauldin (John); his nephew Tyler Horne (Jessie); his great-nephews, Clayton of Green Creek, NC and Ladson Mauldin of Green Creek, NC; his close friend Earl Morris of Inman, SC; and his pet Obie.
