William Steve Sowell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Steve Sowell of Lancaster, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Steve Sowell, Jr. and Marian Hagins Sowell; his daughter Stephanie Sowell; and his sister Nancy Elizabeth Baker. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Powers Sowell; his daughter Sheri Sowell Sistare (Richard) of Lancaster; his sister Barbara Alice "Tootie" Sowell; his grandchildren, Karlie Hammond Edwards (Erin), Kelsie Hammond Ward (Alex) and William "Carson" Sowell; and his great grandchild Wrenlee Grae Ward.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Sherwood Baptist Church (1030 State Rd S-29-501, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
