He is survived by: his wife Virginia Allen Sumner of Lancaster; his children, Ken "Bighouse" Sumner (Dawn) of Florence and Casey S. Cato (Jeff) of Lancaster; his sister Shirley Burnett of Union, SC; and his grandchildren, Joshua Cato, Jonathan Cato, Jacob Cato, Kathleen Sumner and Lee Mozingo.
