It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Witherspoon (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Bath, South Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Eddie Merriweather. She is survived by: her mother Sallie Beck Merriweather; her children, Kayloni Harrison of Charlotte, NC, Jared Witherspoon of Charlotte, NC and Jason Witherspoon of Charlotte, NC; and her siblings, Eddie Merriweather Jr. of Augusta, GA, Pamela Driscoll of Pensacola, FL, Sonja Bennett of Augusta, GA and Yolanda Patterson of Augusta, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
