He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Durward Rainey Sr and Reba Jane Driskell Rainey; his wife Yvonne Rainey; and his brother Eddie Eugene Rainey. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Rainey of Lancaster; his stepson Mike Adams of Hartsville; his grandchildren, Michael Adams and Tisha Jones; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Adams and Ethan Jones.
