It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ann McManus Owens of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Aaron McManus and Viola Hinson McManus; her husband Dr. W. Harold Owens; her granddaughter Heather Owens; and her siblings, Bill McManus, Farris McManus, Burnie McManus, John McManus, George McManus, Willie Mae McManus, Elsie McManus and Nina M. Trimble.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Owens (Karen) of Lancaster, Joel Owens of Lancaster and Todd Owens (Sharon) of Kannapolis, NC; her grandchildren, Crystal Owens Christopher (Ryan) of Lancaster and David Owens of Kannapolis, NC; her great grandchildren, Colton Christopher and Scarlett Clark; and her sister Annie M. Ivie of Greer, SC..
