He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Smith and Quay Smith; and his wife Tamereh Renee Smith. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Wilson (Richard) of New Bern, N. C.; his stepchildren, LaQuisha Hingleton of Lancaster, Gerald Hingleton of Lancaster, Andrew Hingleton of Lancaster and Reginald Hingleton of Lancaster; his nephew Sam Wilson; and his niece Katy Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to his beloved church, Christ Episcopal Church, PO Box 488, Lancaster, SC 29721.
