He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Brown Carnes and Chloe Ann Wright Carnes; and his daughter Alicia Nichole Carnes. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kay Reeves Carnes of Lancaster; his daughter Tina Ann Carnes of Lancaster; his siblings, Mark Carnes (Suzanne) of Lancaster, Sandra Morgan of Lancaster and Larnell Deese of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Tinsley Oliver, Case Oliver, Albree, Kolby and Branson Hammond.
