He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber Nathan Carnes, Sr. and Christine Plott Carnes. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara C. Threatt and Heber Nathan Carnes, Jr. (Denise); his nephews, Keith Threatt, II (Sydney), John Carnes, III (Chelsea), James Carnes (Kayla) and Nathan Carnes, III; his niece Chris Threatt (Gerald); his great-nephews, Nick Threatt of Henry Carnes, K. J and Jimmy Snipes; and his cousin Kenny Plott (Lynn).
A gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C.
Mr. Carnes unselfishly chose to donate his body to The Anatomy Foundation to help others.
