He was predeceased by: his parents, James Obie Reinhardt and Emma Hendrix Reinhardt; and his siblings, C. H. Reinhardt, Roberta Schlimme, Joyce Scott, Faye Brannon and Ruby Misenheimer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ella Reinhardt; his daughters, Sandra Rumfelt (Jim) of Belmont and Wanda Mertes (Joe) of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Kathleen Scott (Travis), Jennifer Ash (Anthony), Joe Mertes (Maegan), Patrick Mertes, Brett Rumfelt (Eileen) and Cortney Allman (Sid); and his great grandchildren, Jonas Ash, Owen, Leo Rumfelt, Taryn, Kendall Scott, Ella, Kaitlyn Allman, Joey and River Mertes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
