She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Burdette Heifner and Frances Murray Heifner; and her husband Max A. Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Max Raymond Bowers (Hayley) of Charlotte, NC, Julie Bowers of Lancaster, SC and Kimberley Ward (Michael) of Lancaster, SC; her sister Nora Andrews of Reston, VA.; her grandchildren, Eric (Melissa), Summer, Tabetha, Taylor, Brody, Colin and Macy; and her great grandchildren, Zelda and Asher.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lancaster Funeral Home (709 N White St, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
