It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Baker of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Susan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Susan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Dale Plyler and Matrell Connell Plyler. She is survived by: her husband Robert John Baker "Bobby"; her sons, Jonathan (Julie) and David (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Scarlet, Evan and Olivia; and her brother Mark Grayson Plyler.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720).
