It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Lenore Watts (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray C. Smith and Bertha Polston Smith; her son Brent Watts; and her brother Harold Smith. She is survived by: her husband Louie Watts; her children, Barry Len Watts (Eron) of Lancaster and Renea Watts Featherstone (Rob) of Hickory, NC; her daughter-in-law Janie Watts of Lancaster, SC; her grandchildren, Clark Featherstone, Brett Featherstone, Cole Featherstone, Blake Featherstone, Tyler Watts, Katie Watts and Mackenzie Watts; and her sister Beverly Chewning of Chesterfield, SC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at Second Baptist Church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
