We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2020, at the age of 78, Sammy Lee Crook of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Chesterfield, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Crook and Inez Plyler Crook; and his siblings, W. C. Crook, James Crook, Billy Crook, Lois Miller and Doris Courtney.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Haidar (Moe) of Charlotte, Dawn Hinson of Lancaster, Cindy Lyles of Lancaster and Paul Crook of Devens, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Jennifer Stotlar (Brandon), Shona Kelly (Brendan), Kristen Lambeth (Jonathan), Chesney L. Shehane (James), Jantzen Crook, Alanna Crook of Virginia and Savannah Lyles of Lancaster; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Crook of Kershaw and Macy Crook of Lancaster. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
