She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Clark and Mary Jane Hinson; her former husband James Cook; her husband Jack Lewis; her son Darrell Cook; and her siblings, George Hinson, Mildred Pravette and Nancy Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beaman (Bill) of Troy, NC, Martha "Ann" Cook of Lancaster, SC, Howard Cook (Christine) of Belmont, NC and James Cook of Chadbourne, NC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of A Simple Service Burial & Cremation of Lancaster (201 N Catawba St #2066, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fayetteville Memorial (2881 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28306).
