She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Clark and Mary Jane Hinson; her former husband James Cook; her husband Jack Lewis; her son Darrell Cook; and her siblings, George Hinson, Mildred Pravette and Nancy Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beaman (Bill) of Troy, NC, Martha "Ann" Cook of Lancaster, SC, Howard Cook (Christine) of Belmont, NC and James Cook of Chadbourne, NC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and dear friends.
